The E-MU Vintage Pro is a digital synthesizer designed in the USA in 2002. The sound base consists of Vintage Synth and Vintage Electric Pianos samples and/or waveform imitations. (Wurtlizer, CP70, Vox Jaguar, Clavinet, Oberheim OBX, Oberheim SEM, Oberheim OB8, Moog Rogue, Minimoog, Roland Jupiter 8, Roland JX8P, Roland Juno, Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, ARP 2600, Roland SH-101, E-MU Modular, Moog Taurus, Wave PPG, Yamaha DX7, Solina String Ensemble, Elka String, Roland TR-808, Roland TR-909, Korg MS-20, many vintage electronic percussion samples ...). The E-MU Vintage Pro is far from being a simple Samples player because many parameters can be edited. If you take the time to create new sounds from scratch, the E-MU Vintage Pro then becomes a VERY POWERFUL digital synthesizer: You can stack up to four layers of sound, with the chosen pitch ... ---> Go through one or more of the 50 types of filters modeled ---> Modulate the sound using a virtual modular system that offers 64 modulation sources, 3 envelopes and 2 LFO per sound layer! 24 virtual connection cords connectable to any parameter ---> The four live editing potentiometers allow you to control one of 12 selectable parameters. Each real-time controllers allows you to control several synthesis parameters at the same time. For example a controller can simultaneously control the filter CUTOFF while controlling the DETUNE of one channel while adjusting the envelope release time... The E-MU vintage Pro has 6 separate analog outputs. The E-MU Vintage Pro has several complete arpeggiators. You can synchronize up to 16 arpeggiators. The E-MU Vintage Pro is particularly effective for imitating electric pianos, mellotron, string machines or TB303 typed Bass.
