The Roland TR-505 is a digital drum machine made in Japan in 1986. It offers 16 drum channels, 48 patterns to create and 48 presets pattern. MIDI IN MIDI OUT. To create your rhythms you have the choice between: editing on a grid of 16 steps shown on the LCD screen (replaces the 16 sequencer buttons of a TR-808 or a TR-909 for example). Or trigger editing where you hear a metronome loop and you trigger the sounds by activating the corresponding PAD (this editing mode is very inspiring, even if you are not "musicians"). In our opinion, the TR-505 is a mix of the sounds of the TR-707 and TR-727 without the separate outputs. Note that the BD and the SNARE have a good dynamic almost as important as on a TR-707. The TR-505 has been and is used by artists like: Tame Impala, Tom Yorke, BT, Venetian Snares, Derrick May, Aphex Twin ...

With only some yellowed part and knobs this TR-505 is in good cosmetic for it's age. This Tr-505 has been fully serviced in our workshop it's in perfect working order and is sold with a 3 months warranty.
